Frequent or long-term use can cause skin damage around the nose and mouth (scabs, rashes, wounds), allergic reactions, itching, chronic inflammation of nasal mucosa, frequent sneezing and nasal discharge, septum damage, facial redness and swelling, yellowish crusts. May also cause temporary erectile dysfunction (“paradoxical effect”) and respiratory depression at high doses. Nitrites can induce severe anemia by destroying red blood cells, leading to oxygen deficiency, persistent fatigue, breathlessness, pallor, and decreased physical performance. Strictly contraindicated with nitrate-based medications (e.g., Viagra®, Cialis®, nitroglycerin, or other vasodilators), due to risk of life-threatening blood pressure drop or cardiac arrest. In case of accidental ingestion or persistent symptoms, immediately consult a physician, contact a poison control center, or call emergency services (112 in the EU). Use is entirely at the user’s own risk. The seller disclaims any liability for misuse, off-label use, combination with other substances, or failure to follow warnings.
